Azerbaijani wrestler Ali Tsokayev (92 kg) has become the winner of the U-23 European Championship held in Serbia.
According to information from the "Report" employee seconded to the competition, A. Tsokayev defeated Turkish Fatih Altunbaş in the final.
It should be noted that earlier freestyle wrestlers Vasif Baghirov (57 kg), Jeyhun Allahverdiyev (61 kg) and Sabuhi Amiraslanov (79 kg) won silver medals, while Musa Aghayev (65 kg), Ramik Heybatov (70 kg) and Zafar Aliyev (97 kg) won bronze medals.
The European Championship will end on March 15.
