The U-23 European Wrestling Championship continues in Zrenjanin, Serbia.
According to the Eastern European Bureau of "Report", Aida Karimova, an Azerbaijani representing Ukraine in the 50 kg weight category in freestyle wrestling, defeated her opponents to take first place and win a gold medal.
A. Karimova is the first Azerbaijani female athlete to achieve this in Ukraine.
It should be noted that A. Karimova was born in the city of Toretsk, Donetsk region.
