Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Abubakr Abakarov (92 kg) won a gold medal at the Alexander Medved Memorial Tournament, a 3-time Olympic champion, in Minsk, the capital of Belarus.
According to the "Report" from the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, our representative, who defeated all his rivals, rose to the highest step of the podium.
Abakarov won a convincing victory over Dagestani Gamzat Gasanov in the final – 12:5.
