Three more Azerbaijani wrestlers will start fighting today at the World Championships held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Sport24.az reports that Gunay Gurbanova (59 kg) among women, Ali Rahimzade (65 kg) and Magomedkhan Magomedov (97 kg) among freestyle wrestlers will compete on the mat.
In addition, two other freestyle wrestlers may win medals today. Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) will compete for a bronze medal. Jabrail Hajiyev (79 kg) will test his strength in a consolation match.
It should be noted that earlier freestyle wrestlers Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) won a silver medal, and Nureddin Novruzov (61 kg) and Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg) won bronze medals. The World Championship will end on September 21.
