The main goal of the Azerbaijani women's volleyball team is to perform successfully in the Golden European League.
This was stated by Aynur Imanova, a member of the team, in an interview with "Report".
She said that training camps are continuing in Greece:
"Yesterday we played our first test match with the Greek national team and lost (0:4). We made a lot of mistakes. We didn't play at the desired level in reception and defense. We have two more games ahead. Of course, we will work on our mistakes and try to play better and win."
A.Imanova said that test matches are very important:
"Because with the help of these matches, we see our weaknesses, our mistakes, and we try to eliminate them. I would also like to emphasize that the Greek national team was playing with a full squad, while most of the main players in our team are missing. Although this has a certain negative impact on us, we will try to achieve better results in the next games."
