"I couldn't play for the national team in the Golden European League due to injury."
This was stated to Idman.biz by Azerbaijani national volleyball player Ayshan Abdulazimova.
The 32-year-old blocker, who parted ways with the Hungarian club "Vasas", announced her future plans. She said that she is currently continuing her treatment: "I am working on my injuries. If I have time, I will rest a bit before the season. But I don't know where I will start the new volleyball year. I am currently considering offers. There are offers from local clubs. Therefore, I am still thinking. I can stay in Azerbaijan, I can leave. Anything can happen."
Abdulazimova, who has lived as a legionnaire for many years, emphasized the importance of foreign experience in her sports career: "The most valuable experience I gained was playing in the Champions League. I have said before that if I had the opportunity, I would leave the country sooner and start living as a legionnaire earlier. Of course, it has its advantages as well as its difficulties. But I recommend every young player to live as a legionnaire."
It should be noted that Abdulazimova became the champion of Hungary 5 times with her last club "Vasas".
