The best of 2024 in Azerbaijani sports have been announced. At the Gala ceremony organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, "Qarabag" was among the best in various nominations.
This was due to the achievements of our team during the year. Our club won the title of Azerbaijani champion for the 11th time in the 2023/24 season. "Qarabag" also won the national cup, achieving the "Golden Double". Having passed the play-off stage in the Europa League last season and advanced to the 1/8 finals, our team went down in history as the first Azerbaijani club to reach this stage. In the 2024/25 season, our team, which qualified for the main stage of European Cups for the 11th time in a row, went to the winter break in the Premier League in 1st place.
As a result of these successes, "Qarabag" was chosen as the Best Men's Team of the Year. The award was presented to the club's CEO, Emrah Celikel. Our team's head coach, Gurban Gurbanov, took 3rd place in the Best Coach of the Year nomination.
