The "Shamakhy Olympic Center`s Cup" tournament was held at the Shamakhi Olympic Center among youth rugby union clubs.
The tournament was attended by the clubs "Qarabağ", "EAS Simurgh", "Dunya Warriors" and the host club "Shamakhi OM".
The team of the Dünya school, which defeated the more experienced "Qarabağ" club with a score of 15:0 in the final, became the winner of the tournament. In the match for 3rd place, "EAS Simurgh" defeated the hosts with a score of 15:10.
This tournament was aimed at preparing for the national rugby union championship, which will be held on March 15, 2026, organized jointly by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Rugby Federation.
