I am very happy to have won a gold medal.
"Report" reports that this was stated by Yaylagul Ramazanova, the winner of the Azerbaijan Archery Championship among women.
She said that the competition was held in difficult competitive conditions:
"My results were not as high as I expected. I didn't have time to practice much because I am a new mother. But in the end, I am very happy to have won. My final fight was intense. I saw new athletes in the competition. Each of them was a talented athlete trying to prove themselves."
It should be noted that about 60 athletes representing different regions of Azerbaijan competed in the 3-day tournament. Male and female archers targeted the target from 18 meters in three age categories (teenagers under 16, youth aged 16-18 and adults) in an indoor hall.
