Idman.biz reports with reference to AZERTAC that these words were said by the President of the European Canoe Association (ECA), Yan Zunqran, in a statement to journalists during an event held for the residents of Fuzuli within the framework of the "President's Cup-2025" international rowing regatta.
Emphasizing that he was visiting Fuzuli for the second time, the ECA head said he was happy to participate in the event: "I highly appreciate the importance of this event for the residents of Fuzuli who want to engage in rowing. Your country will host a prestigious competition with the participation of athletes from more than 20 countries. Azerbaijan will gain important experience after organizing this tournament. This country is also capable of hosting the European Championship in the future. Our technical team will also be here by the end of this week to inspect the sports facilities of Mingachevir."
It should be noted that the regatta, which will be attended by more than 200 athletes from more than 20 countries, will be held from April 30 to May 2.
