The sports with the most sanctions as a result of the activities of the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency in 2017–2025 have been determined.
Idman.Biz reports that the Executive Director of AMADA, Tahmina Taghi-zade, announced this at the international conference "Law and Justice in Sports: A New Anti-Doping Framework" dedicated to the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty".
Over the past 9 years, 22 sanctions have been applied to wrestlers, 20 to boxers, 12 to weightlifters, 11 to taekwondo practitioners, 9 to judokas, 7 to powerlifters, 6 to cyclists, and 5 to athletics, handball and kickboxing each.
