Work continues on the creation of outdoor sports facilities in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to increase the use of sports services by the population and promote a healthy lifestyle.
The local bureau of "Report" reports that, in accordance with the State Program, a total of 8 outdoor sports facilities were put into operation in various areas of the city of Nakhchivan last year.
The scope of this process is being further expanded.
According to the Detailed Action Plan for 2025–2027, the construction of new outdoor sports facilities has already begun in the cities and towns of the autonomous republic. The process was first launched in the city of Shahbuz, and initial construction work is being carried out in the designated area.
According to the plan, by the end of this year, it is planned to put into operation simple outdoor sports facilities in a total of 11 locations in the regions - 7 in cities and 4 in towns.
