The Board of Directors of the Azerbaijan Mountaineering Federation (AAF) held an official meeting today with world-class mountaineers Elmira Aslanova and Vafa Musayeva.
Idman.biz reports that during the meeting, the federation expressed its gratitude to the Azerbaijani female mountaineers who successfully climbed Mount Everest, and their historical achievement was highly appreciated.
The meeting also included extensive discussions about the difficulties experienced during the expedition, the preparation stage, and future plans. Elmira Aslanova and Vafa Musayeva thanked the Federation for their support and stated that they were very proud to wave the Azerbaijani flag at the highest point in the world.
The Azerbaijan Mountaineering Federation emphasized that it will continue to support such successful projects in the future and will create new opportunities for the development of young mountaineers.
