The winners of the district handball championship among junior boys born in 2012-2013 have been determined at the Lankaran Olympic Sports Complex.
According to the information provided to "Report" from the Azerbaijan Handball Federation, 16 teams representing Lankaran's secondary schools competed in 2 groups.
In the final of the two-day competition, the teams of Lankaran city secondary schools No. 2 and No. 6 faced each other.
Since the winner was not determined in the regular time of the match, the sides finished the fight with 7-meter penalty shots.
The team of secondary school No. 2, which performed penalties more accurately, became the winner of the tournament. The team of Shikhakeran secondary school took third place.
The winners were awarded diplomas and gifts. According to the regulations, the team of city school No. 2, along with the cup, won a ticket to the zonal competitions of the Azerbaijan championship.
