The Azerbaijan Youth Handball Championship has concluded.
Idman.biz reports that boys and girls born in 2010 and younger competed in the competition held at the "AHF Arena" sports complex.
Medals and diplomas were presented to the winners of the tournament, which was jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Handball Federation.
According to the results, the "Baku-1" team won the competition among boys. "Baku-2" took second place, and "Gazakh" took third place.
In the girls' competition, the "Baku-1" team surpassed all its rivals. "Baku-2" won silver medals, and "Ganja" won bronze medals.
It should be noted that the purpose of holding the championship, in which 13 teams participated, 7 of which were boys and 6 of which were girls, is to promote and develop handball and identify promising athletes.
