The Azerbaijan Cup in powerlifting and bench press was held at the Shuvalan Weightlifting Center.
Idman.biz reports that more than 80 athletes from different cities and regions of our country participated in the competition.
The two-day competition was organized in accordance with the rules of the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF). During the competition, participants competed according to their weight categories and also in the absolute weight category.
Powerlifting, winners in the absolute weight category:
1st place – Kamran Badalov (Baku)
2nd place – Osman Allahverdiyev (Jabrayil)
3rd place – Ramin Suleymanzade (Baku)
Powerlifting, winners in the absolute weight category among youth:
1st place – Rashid Rzayev (Baku)
2nd place – Ismail Mammadov (Baku)
3rd place – Huseyn Hasanov (Baku)
Bench press, winners in the absolute weight category:
1st place – Tural Orujov (Baku)
2nd place – Abbas Muradov (Ganja)
3rd place – Azer Aliyev (Baku)
Bench press, winners in the absolute weight category among youth:
1st place – Ilkin Veliyev (Baku)
2nd place – Jabbar Hajiyev (Aghjabadi)
