Gasim Hashimov, the father of the late Azerbaijani chess player Vugar Hashimov, has passed away.
This was reported to "Report" by the press service of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation.
He passed away in the hospital.
It should be noted that Gasim Hashimov, born in 1949, was injured due to an explosion in a private house in the village of Novkhani, Absheron region.
