The Azerbaijani chovgan national team has prepared well for the III CIS Games.
According to the employee of "Report" dispatched to Sheki, this was stated by team member Vahid Mammadov in his statement to journalists.
The athlete emphasized that they are constantly working on themselves:
"We expected the game with Kuwait to be difficult, and it was. We were well and seriously prepared. We are constantly working on ourselves and with the horses. That's why we won."
He assessed their chances of winning the championship:
"We are still doing well. We believe in ourselves and our horses. I hope the championship will be ours."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team, which defeated Kuwait 5:0 in Group A today, has advanced to the semi-finals. The chovgan competition will end on October 7.
