Two more Azerbaijani female wrestlers will start competing today at the European Championship held in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.
According to "Report", Jala Aliyeva (57 kg) and Ruzanna Mammadova (62 kg) will step onto the mat.
Alyona Kolesnik (59 kg) will face the winner of the Aurora Russo (Italy) - Mariana Cherdivara (Moldova) pair in the bronze medal match today.
It should be noted that freestyle wrestlers previously won 1 gold, 1 silver, and 4 bronze awards. Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) became the European champion, Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) won silver, and Islam Bazaraganov (57 kg), Ali Rahimzade (65 kg), Kenan Heybatov (70 kg), and Aganazar Novruzov (74 kg) won bronze medals.
The Azerbaijani national freestyle wrestling team became the European champion in the team standings. The continental championship will end on April 13.
