Turkish figure skater Ali Efe Güneş has been arrested.
"Report" reports that the Turkish Figure Skating Federation has released a statement on the matter.
The athlete is accused of sending messages to underage girls, sexual harassment, and threats. He had been banned from participating in all federation events, training camps, and competitions since December 2024.
It should be noted that the 20-year-old figure skater was the winner of the Bosphorus Cup in 2023 and also a bronze medalist at the Denis Ten Memorial among juniors.
