Triathlete Andrey Pulyaev died during a race in Russia.
"Report" reports that this was stated by the press service of "Ironstart 113", the organizer of the race.
He died while passing the water section of the distance during a triathlon race in Nizhny Novgorod. The athlete's condition deteriorated near the finish line, and although he was handed over to an ambulance team, it was not possible to save his life.
It was noted that the athlete had the appropriate experience and training, had previously participated in triathlon races at distances of 113 and 226 km, and, like other participants, underwent a medical examination for admission to the races.
