The name of French motorcycle racer Rafael Shole has come to the fore in the country's sports community with a tragic event. The 21-year-old athlete died in an accident during a stage of the French Championship held on sandy tracks.
İdman.Biz reports with reference to "RMC Sport" that the incident was recorded during a race organized in the commune of Grèyan-Lopital.
Shole first fell off his motorcycle in a difficult section, after which he was hit by another participant's motorcycle coming from behind.
The young athlete was immediately taken to the hospital by helicopter, but despite all the efforts of the doctors, it was not possible to save his life.
It should be noted that Rafael Shole was considered one of the promising young athletes in French sandy track racing, and his death was met with deep sorrow in the country's sports community.
