Tour de France leader Jasper Philipsen was involved in a serious accident.

İdman.biz reports that the member of the "Alpecin-Deceuninck" team finished the race prematurely.

Philipsen sustained injuries after colliding with a teammate 60 km from the finish in the 3rd stage. The 27-year-old athlete's jumpsuit was torn and blood was observed on his back.

It should be noted that Jasper, who won the first stage of the Tour de France, was the leader of the current race. Bunuamu Girmayu will replace him in the green jersey.
