The European Judo Championship continues in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro.
GOL.az reports that three more judokas from Azerbaijan will join the competition today.
Zelim Kotsoyev (100 kg) and Ushangi Kokauri (+100 kg) will compete among men. In the women's competition, Nigar Suleymanova (+78 kg) will test her strength.
It should be noted that Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg), Rashid Mammadaliyev (73 kg), Zelim Tckaev (81 kg) and Murad Fatiyev (90 kg) have previously won bronze medals.
In addition, the Azerbaijani national team is competing in the European Championship both with individual athletes and in teams. Our country is represented by 15 judokas in 12 weight categories, including 9 men and 6 women. The team will also compete in the mixed team competition.
