For more than a decade, students and teachers at Ititala School, located in a border village of the Balakan region, have been cycling to school.
Idman.Biz reports that the educational institution operates Azerbaijani and Georgian sections. After arriving at school early in the morning, students neatly park their bicycles in a specially designated area of the yard, and after school they ride back home again. There is no confusion as each class has a separate storage area.
This method not only helps to cover the distance comfortably, but also promotes a healthy lifestyle in children, and strengthens the sense of responsibility and independence. A large part of the teachers also set an example for the students by using bicycles.
The school principal, Shahin Aliyev, said that cycling to school is the students' own choice and the management only monitors the protection and safety of their property.
The students talk about the convenience of the bicycle and say that coming to school with this vehicle is both fun and convenient.
