The course organized by the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF) for coaches and teachers in the city of Ganja has ended.
According to the information provided to "Report" from the Federation, 19 coach-teachers from Ganja, as well as surrounding districts and cities, participated in the AVF's "1st degree" coaching course, which took place at the Ganja Olympic Sports Complex and lasted for five days.
The lessons were conducted by Cengiz Akarcesme, Head of Training and Lower Age Groups of AVF.
On the last day of the course, participants took theoretical and practical exams. 8 specialists who successfully passed both exams were awarded the "1st degree" certificate of the federation.
It should be noted that "1st degree" coaching courses were held by the federation last year in Gabala, Sumgayit and Baku. AVF will organize second and third degree courses in Baku and other regions, in addition to the first degree. Coach-teachers who have received the "1st degree" certificate will be able to coach in local championships. Specialists who receive all three degrees will be eligible to participate in the FIVB Level-1 seminar.
