A tragic incident occurred in the Gabala region, resulting in the death of a teenager. Sport24.az reports with reference to Sportal.az that Huseyn Azer oglu Huseynov, a resident of the Agjabedi region born in 2010, drowned in a pool around 10 p.m. on February 1.
It is reported that Huseyn, who went to Vandam settlement of Gabala for vacation and stayed in a rented house, accidentally fell into the pool in the yard. It was impossible to save his life.
An investigation is underway regarding the incident.
According to H.Huseynov's relatives, he went to Gabala for a sports competition.
Huseyn, who was engaged in wrestling in Agjabedi, went to Gabala with his coach and 5 other teenage athletes for a friendly meeting.
They rented a house with a hot pool in the Vandam settlement of Gabala. In the evening, around 10 p.m., the teenagers relaxed in the pool and then entered the house.
However, it was soon discovered that Huseyn had drowned and died in the pool.
It is reported that the water level in the pool was 140-150 centimeters, and Huseyn's height was 160 centimeters.
The reason and circumstances of the incident are not yet known.
The Gabala District Prosecutor's Office is investigating the incident.
