The "Qarabağ Mechack 9030" robotics team has achieved successful results in international tournaments held within the framework of the "FIRST Robotics Competition" (FRC), one of the world's most prestigious engineering competitions.
İdman.Biz reports that the team managed to be in the "Top-15" among 39 teams in the "Gotham Regional" stage.
The results are also noteworthy in terms of individual and team achievements. Two members of the team distinguished themselves in the "Leadership" nomination and advanced to the final stage. In addition, the team's mentor advanced to the final stage of the "Woodie Flowers Award" nomination, which has a special reputation in the field of robotics, which once again confirms the important role of mentoring in the team's development.

It should be noted that the "FIRST Robotics Competition" (FRC) is considered one of the most prestigious robotics competitions on a global scale. The author of the project and one of the main partners is the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
Every year on the first Saturday of January, the theme of the competition is announced by NASA, and the participating teams prepare a robot according to that task and participate in the competition.
It should be noted that the "Qarabağ Mechack 9030" team participated in the "Gotham Regional" and "New York Regional" tournaments held in the USA this year.
These achievements of the team are not only an indicator of its increasing influence on the international platform, but also a clear example of the contribution to the development of robotics and STEM fields in Azerbaijan.
