Stanislav Cherchesov, the Russian specialist and head coach of the Kazakhstan national football team, has prematurely ended his work in his position.
Lent.az reports that, according to the press service of the Kazakhstan Football Federation, the employment contract has been terminated by mutual agreement of the parties.
Along with Cherchesov, his entire coaching staff is leaving the Kazakhstan national team. The Kazakhstan Football Federation thanked the experienced specialist and his assistants for their work.
According to the Kazakhstan Football Federation, the candidacy of a new head coach for the national team is currently being considered.
The 61-year-old coach took over as head of the Kazakhstan national team on June 3, 2024. Under his leadership, the Kazakh football players played six matches in the UEFA Nations League and scored only one point, drawing with the Norwegian national team.
