Last year, 36 sports competitions were held in the liberated territories.
According to "Report", Elnur Mammadov, Head of the Sports Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, reported this.
The ministry official shared his views at a meeting of the Youth and Sports Committee of the Milli Majlis with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the National Olympic Committee and sports federations.
He noted the increase in the number of people involved in sports:
"This is also, in a sense, an impetus to the development of sports. The Coaches Forum was organized within the framework of Sports Week. Experts play an important role in the formation of an athlete. We have a lot of work to do with them. There are problems with physical education teachers in schools. The teacher, even unintentionally, conducts harmful training in the training process. This also harms health".
