Sports competitions dedicated to the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty" were held among the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
The local bureau of "Report" informs that the purpose of the competitions is to develop physical qualities among personnel, to cultivate moral and psychological characteristics, as well as to achieve the widespread dissemination of sports.
Before the competitions, the dear memory of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Then the participants were informed about the rules of the competitions.
Combined teams consisting of military personnel and specially ranked employees of structural units participated in competitions in sports such as long and high jump, pull-ups from the horizontal bar and running for a distance of 2400 meters.
In the end, the teams that took the first 3 places were awarded with medals and honorary diplomas.
