South African athlete Akani Simbine broke Usain Bolt's record by running 100 meters in less than 10 seconds.
"Report" reports that "Pulse Sports" reported this.
The 31-year-old athlete achieved this at the "Golden Grand Prix" tournament held in Botswana. He managed to cover the distance in 9.90 seconds. Previously, the record for running this distance belonged to Usain Bolt (10 seconds).
It should be noted that Akani Simbine is a silver medalist of the Paris Olympics held in France.
