The short program for junior women was held at the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating in Baku.
"Report" reports that 35 athletes from 30 countries performed in the short program.
According to the results, Sofia Shifrin (Israel) took the highest step of the podium with 61.57 points. Yi Van Hong (China) took second place with 60.96 points, and Hevon Dju (South Korea) took third place.
Azerbaijani representatives Arina Kalugina took 6th place with 57.87 points, Sabina Aliyeva took 28th place with 35.76 points, and Leyli Akhundova took 29th place with 35.33 points.
It should be noted that the Grand Prix is organized by the State Tourism Agency, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation and the International Skating Union. 92 athletes from 38 countries are participating in the tournament.
On the second day of the competition, men will perform a free program on ice, and pairs will perform a short dance program.
