"Shaki" head coach Bedri Meric commented on their victory over "Ganja" in the playoff stage of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.

We may have played weakly technically in this match. But we had a team that never gave up on winning in the game. We built the team with this philosophy. "Shaki" has earned the right to play in Group A next season. Our opponent in the semi-finals, "Sabah," has a squad built for the Champions League. It is also a team that played in the European Cup this season. Although the level difference is not the same, we will continue to fight in the same way. Maybe we can surprise you. It should be noted that "Shaki" defeated "Ganja" based on the results of three games (2:1) in the playoff stage and qualified for the semi-finals. The regional representative will face "Sabah" in this stage.
