Seminar organized and exams held for Nakhchivan karatekas
A technical-tactical seminar and belt examination were organized in Nakhchivan with the participation of representatives of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation (AKF).
"Report"'s local bureau reports that the activities carried out in the "Gapijik" and "Nakhchivan" karate clubs aimed to improve the theoretical and practical qualities of karatekas, as well as to evaluate their skills.
The examination commission, consisting of Hamdiyya Mammadov, chairman of the AKF Legal and Disciplinary Committee, and Ahmad Afandi, chairman of the Technical and Coaching Committee, observed the athletes' performances in kihon, kata and kumite rules, and took appropriate notes. The results of the assessment will be announced in a week.
It should be noted that 14 karatekas took the exam for the second dan, 4 for the first dan black belt, and the others for various belt degrees.
