The aim of the coaching courses is to train healthy athletes, increase interest in cycling and develop it.
Idman.biz reports with reference to AZERTAC that these words were said by Elnara Musayeva, Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation, as well as the head of coaching courses, in a statement to journalists.
She said that this is a pilot project: "Along with the cities of Ganja and Sumgayit, we have invited coaches from 8 more regions to this course. Theoretical and practical knowledge is taught here. Even the nutrition of athletes is monitored. I hope that thanks to the project, together with the coaches, we will spread cycling to the regions as well."
It should be noted that a new project has been launched at the Republican Velodrome with the joint organization of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation, the Ministry of Science and Education, as well as the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Coaches from 10 regions will participate in the 12-day courses.
