Sadiqov was penalized with 4 years due to doping – Disqualification confirmed
Azerbaijani boxer Farid Sadiqov has been banned from competitions for 48 months for violating anti-doping rules.
Apasport.az reports that traces of prohibited substances, their metabolites or markers were found in Sadiqov's samples.
In addition, he was also penalized for using or attempting to use a prohibited substance or method.
The disqualification decision came into effect on January 1, 2024, and the sanction will last until the same date in 2028.
