Alexander Alexeyev, a hockey player for the Washington club in the USA, has been detained.
"Report" reports, citing "ARL Now", that the 25-year-old Russian athlete was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place.
Police also used pepper spray during the incident. He was taken to the police station on the morning of May 17, but was later released.
It should be noted that Alexander Alexeyev has been playing for the Washington Capitals since 2021.
