Russian climber Natalia Nagovitsyna died on Pobeda Peak in Kyrgyzstan.
"Report" reports, citing the "SHOT" Telegram channel, that the athlete broke her leg while descending from the height and remained helpless at an altitude of 7,000 meters for more than a week.
The 47-year-old climber, left without food or water on the mountain, only had a stove, a sleeping bag and a torn tent.
It was necessary to wait for the weather to normalize in order to retrieve her body. Only after that, the helicopter reached the specified height and took the body.
It should be noted that Natalia Nagovitsyna died at the altitude where her husband died. Her husband suffered a stroke while climbing to that altitude in 2021.
