Russian badminton players have not been allowed to participate in the European Championship.
"Report" reports with reference to TASS that the leadership of the European Badminton Confederation refused to allow Russian athletes to participate in the competition.
It was emphasized that the organization took this step due to the lack of security guarantees.
The same decision applies to Belarusian representatives.
It should be noted that the European Championship will be held in Huelva, Spain, from April 6-12. Currently, four Russian badminton players - Rodion Alimov, Maxim Ogloblin, Anastasia Boyarun and Darya Kharlampovich - have neutral status.
