Russian alpinist Natalya Nagovisina died on Victory Peak in Kyrgyzstan after being stranded with a broken leg at an altitude of 7,000 meters.
İdman.biz reports that the alpinist was injured during the descent on August 12.
The evacuation of her body from the mountain by helicopter will only be possible after the weather conditions improve.
Therefore, the rescue team involved for Nagovisina's body has also been recalled from its position at an altitude of 4,500 meters.
It should be noted that 4 years ago, Nagovisina's husband suffered a stroke while climbing Khan-Tengri Peak. At that time, it was only possible to evacuate Natalya, who was with him. A year later, the alpinist climbed the said peak again and placed a plaque in memory of her husband.
