A rowing master class was held for students, jointly organized by the Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation (AWSF) and the Azerbaijan Sports Academy (ASA).
"Report" informs that students of the Sports Academy first got acquainted with the base of the Baku Rowing and Canoe Sports Club.
They were informed about academic, kayak, canoe, coastal rowing, and dragon boats available at the base. Later, the rules of rowing in boats intended for amateurs were taught. After the master class, students tested themselves in rowing in the Caspian Sea.
The purpose of organizing the event is to increase interest in water sports, ensure mass participation, and strengthen students' physical fitness with practical skills.
