Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation (AWSF) will organize a special event in connection with the Novruz holiday.
Idman.Biz reports that the holiday celebration will be held on March 21, starting from 13:00, on the Baku boulevard, opposite the Maiden Tower by the sea and will be open to residents.
As part of the event, rowers will demonstrate exemplary performances in academic rowing, kayak, canoe and dragon boats. Scooters accompanying the rowing boats with flags will create colorful and attractive images on the water.
Interesting quizzes and entertainment will also be organized for the residents of the capital during the holiday celebration.
A particularly noteworthy novelty is the sailing boat sport. After a long break, sailing boats are returning to Baku for Novruz holiday and will decorate the waters of the Caspian Sea together with rowing boats.
