The multi-day Road Cycling National Cup in Azerbaijan has successfully concluded.
Idman.Biz reports that athletes in various age categories competed in individual time trial, criterium, and group race disciplines within the framework of the competition.
In the individual time trial race in the girls (2011-2014) age group, Elenika Valizade took first place. Suvar Isayeva was second, and Amina Jafarova took third place.
In the girls (2008-2009) category, Maryam Huseynova won the gold medal. Nazrin Isbandiyarova finished the race in second place, and Sevinj Sultanzade finished in third place.
Among the young boys (2012-2014), Abdurrahman Rafiyev won the title. Emil Abbasov was second, and Ismayil Khankishiyev was third.
In the 2010-2011 age group of young people, Raul Mahmudov took first place, Javid Bakhshiyev took second place, and Emil Vakhrameyev took third place.
In the young boys (2008-2009) competition, Rahim Nagiyev climbed to the highest step of the podium. Ali Rzazade was second, and Murad Nadirov was third.
In the elite U-23 men's criterium race, Musa Mikayilzade won. Tural Israfilov was second, and Nofal Nuriyev was third.
Interesting competition was also recorded in other age groups. Chingiz Isayev won in the criterium race of young boys, Nihad Akbarov in teenagers (2010-2011), and Ravan Amirli in (2012-2014). In the girls' criterium, Nazrin Isbandiyarova and Suvar Isayeva distinguished themselves in different age groups.
Winners were also determined in the group race competitions. Musa Mikayilzade took first place in the Elite-U-23 category. Nihad Khudoyev among young boys, and Javid Bakhshiyev and Abdurrahman Rafiyev in various age groups among teenagers won the title. In the girls' competitions, Jeyla Hashimova and Suvar Isayeva won the championship.
Thus, the multi-day National Cup ended in a tense and interesting competitive environment, and promising cyclists demonstrated their skills.
