According to "Report", this was stated by Sabah's head coach, Rimas Kurtinaytis, in a statement to the club's press service after the match of the X round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League against "Nakhchivan".
The experienced specialist said they were disappointed to lose:
"The opponent deservedly won. Although the advantage in the game is usually on our side, this time they were the ones dictating the course of the game. The beginning of the meeting was at an equal level. Then, when the opponent took the lead, we rushed in our game. It should not be forgotten that the match is 40 minutes, not 10. We made individual mistakes in defense, and this was reflected in the score."
He spoke about the performances of the new transfers:
"We can say that the newly transferred basketball players showed a quality game. But they need time to adapt to our game philosophy. Their basketball intelligence is high. I think they will be useful for us."
It should be noted that the match between "Sabah" and "Nakhchivan" ended with the victory of the latter with a score of 80:75.
