The "Spring Cup" show jumping competition, organized by the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held at the Border Guard Equestrian Center on April 14-15. According to Sport24.az, the competition consisted of obstacles set at a height of 90 cm for the "A" category, 115 cm for the "L" category, and 125 cm for the "M*" category. Athletes under 21 years old from various equestrian clubs of Azerbaijan participated with horses up to 6 years old, and athletes over 21 years old participated with horses without age restrictions.
In the "A" category, 23 athletes competed. Ayan Farajova, representing the "Republican Specialized Olympic Reserve Children and Youth Sports School for Equestrian and Modern Pentathlon", took first place with the horse nicknamed "Tibet", Madina Mammadova, representing the "Elite" equestrian club, took second place with the horse nicknamed "Ayla", Amena Gonizzi, representing the "Republican Specialized Olympic Reserve Children and Youth Sports School for Equestrian and Modern Pentathlon", took third place with the horse nicknamed "Pur-Pur", Anar Humbatov, representing the "Elite" club, took fourth place with the horse nicknamed "Magrur", and Angel Vafa Seyid, representing the "Republican Specialized Olympic Reserve Children and Youth Sports School for Equestrian and Modern Pentathlon", took fifth place with the horse nicknamed "Pusta".
In the "L" category, 15 athletes competed without age restrictions. Anar Humbatov, representing the "Elite" equestrian club, took first place with the horse nicknamed "Zirve", Elmar Abdullayev, representing the "Gilan" club, took second place with the horse nicknamed "Carthanio", Seyid Musayev, representing the "Elite" club, took third place with the horse nicknamed "Uca", Mubariz Huseynov, representing the "Murad" club, took fourth place with the horse nicknamed "Elano C", and Kenan Novruzov, representing the "Omar" club, took fifth place with the horse nicknamed "Miss Baloubet MNM".
In the "M*" category, 9 athletes competed without age restrictions. Mubariz Huseynov, representing the "Murad" equestrian club, took first place with the horse nicknamed "Elano C", Elmar Abdullayev, representing the "Gilan" club, took second place with the horse nicknamed "Carthanio", Seyid Musayev, representing the "Elite" club, took third place with the horse nicknamed "Zidan D", Anar Humbatov, another representative of the same club, took fourth place with the horse nicknamed "Damla", and Kenan Novruzov, representing the "Omar" club, took fifth place with the horse nicknamed "Miss Baloubet MNM".
At the end of the two-day competition, the winner in each of the three categories was awarded the "Spring Cup", a medal, and a certificate of honor, the second and third place winners were awarded a medal and a certificate of honor, and the fourth and fifth place winners were awarded a certificate of honor.
