The Republic Handball Championship among girls born in 2008 and younger was held by the "Təhsil" (Education) Republic Sports Center.
İdman.Biz reports that 84 female athletes participated in the competition, in which children's and youth sports-chess schools operating under the State Agency for Preschool and General Education under the Ministry of Science and Education competed.
In the competition, which took place in a tense competitive environment, the first place was taken by the first team of the specialized Olympic reserve children and youth sports school No. 6 of the "Təhsil" Republic Sports Center, the second place was taken by the children and youth sports school No. 2 of the republican specialized Olympic reserves of the "Təhsil" Republic Sports Center, and the third place was taken by the second team of the specialized Olympic reserve children and youth sports school No. 6.
The winning teams were awarded diplomas and medals by the "Təhsil" Republic Sports Center.
It should be noted that the purpose of the competition was to promote and develop handball, identify promising athletes, increase their competition experience, and determine the composition of the Center's national team to participate in city and republic competitions.
