Răzvan Lucescu, the son of Mircea Lucescu, the former head coach of the Romanian national team, appealed to the public regarding his father's health.
İdman.Biz reports that Răzvan Lucescu's statement was published by the "Gazeta Sporturilor" publication.
"This is a very difficult situation and I ask you to treat this issue with respect. Those in the hospital can explain the situation better. They will make statements when they deem it necessary. Understand us, what we are going through is not easy for us," said Răzvan Lucescu.
The information also states that Mircea Lucescu is currently stable, but in serious condition.
It should be reminded that on April 3, it was reported that Lucescu had suffered an acute myocardial infarction. The experienced specialist was hospitalized on March 29 due to health problems while working in the Romanian national team. On the day he was expected to be discharged from the medical institution, his health suddenly worsened again. A number of media outlets published reports that the coach had died.
