According to the Western Bureau of "Report", Rashad Huseynov, the head coach of the Azerbaijani karate team, told reporters.
"Strong athletes from every country have joined this competition and we have strong rivals. Other matches will not be easy either. But we hope that our karatekas will achieve higher results," the expert emphasized.
It should be reminded that Madina Sadigova (55 kg), Nuran Rzazade (67 kg) and Roman Heydarov (kata) won gold medals in today's competition. Farid Savadov (60 kg) and Nazrin Piriyeva (55 kg) lost in the final and won silver medals. Inci Azizova (50 kg), Aslan Dostuyev (67 kg), Ramila Heydarova, Rovshan Aliyev (both kata) lost in the semi-finals and won bronze medals.
