"We have strong opponents, other matches will not be easy either."
According to the Western Bureau of "Report", this was stated by Rashad Huseynov, the head coach of the Azerbaijani National Karate Team, in an interview with journalists.
"Strong athletes from every country have participated in this competition and we have strong opponents. Other matches will not be easy either. But we hope that our karatekas will achieve even higher results," the interviewee emphasized.
Let us remind you that Madina Sadigova (55 kg), Nuran Rzazade (67 kg) and Roman Heydarov (kata) won gold medals in today's competition. Farid Savadov (60 kg) and Nazrin Piriyeva (55 kg) lost in the final and won silver medals. Inci Azizova (50 kg), Aslan Dostuyev (67 kg), Ramila Heydarova, Rovshan Aliyev (both kata) lost in the semi-finals and won bronze medals.
